What it is all about...

Congratulations! The goals set for the year 2000 have been reached. The final deliveries were made this year to our new friends at "Bosom Buddies." You can not imagine the excitement as the last blanket went out for delivery. Way to GO Angels!!!!!!!!!!

Because of you, over 2000 people were a little warmer. Their world filled with a little more color. Everyone involved, enjoyed the unique treasure of "a special moment." There were too many smiles for us to count and lots of wonderful and heartfelt moments. The many notes and letters from people involved in our mission were so encouraging. The stories our friends have to tell are from the heart, filled with unique triumphs and defeats. Anyone, who faces terminal illness, knows that one person can not survive alone. It takes a wide circle of family, friends, and even the strangers who touch a heart or two, to run this race. Our Mission Statement: "No person should ever feel cold or alone" becomes very real for people of many different religions, race, and status.

There are over 500 volunteers now working with Ellie's Angels. The steps necessary to make all this happen are very challenging. Just when we think that it may not happen again this year, someone comes thru to make that next blanket possible. It truly does seem that our mission is destined to be carried out.
